We are currently in the process of working on integrating our product catalog with Big Commerce using their API. I have been able to create all Categories, and Children categories without an issue but I have run into a snag when trying to create products. The issue is this: 1. When running the script that creates categories, and products at the same time the creation of the product fails. 2. When disabling the category creation and just creating products the product is created but it is not assigned to a category. I need someone to tell me how to fix these two issues ASAP. I have attached my files for your reference. I have removed my API key for security reasons. I am sure this will be a quick fix for a seasoned professional. if you need the Big Commerce API I can provide that as well but is accessible from [login to view URL]

Add a category check routine on task #1. It seems whenever you created a category first followed by create product, the category is not listed yet. So, adding a check routine will make sure your product creation would be success.
