Auction SIte

Hi

Looking for someone to assist with the development of an auction website. Website would have a B2B focus and require the seller being able to easily upload/list multiple items (several 100 to several 1,000 items).

In order to be listed there would be mandatory fields that need to be filled. I anticipate the easiest uploading method would involve interfacing with a spreadsheet.

Aside from this the site would need all basic functionality that a site like ebay or [url removed, login to view] has in terms of a sellers profile, sales history and being able to rate the seller.

Also required would be:

- Interface to secure payment method (PayPal etc)

- buy now auctions and other auction formats (dutch reverse etc)

- Fully secure

- Pictures of items for sale, pdf data sheet uploads

- A good search function that will allow the search on 1 or several mandatory fields

- Some mandatory fields would have to have the ability to accept multiple entrys

- Predictive search capability

- The ability for the seller to have a preffered or known buyers where approved buyers are able to recieve discount on sellers std pricing.

- The ability to restrict listings to members authenticated by the seller

- To be able to easily update listings

- To be able to sell multiple numbers of the same item from one listing (based on selling with a buy now price structure) rather than seperate listings for each item.

- Google search optimised

- Sellers & buyers areas for tracking & managing listings answering questions, placing feedback etc

- Discussion board for problems and questions

Please contact me if you are interested I am open to the idea of using a template type script as a base for the project as long as functionaility and security can be maintained.

Site needs to be built to be able to handle heavy traffic volumes.
