Develop Project Jokefire

Hi there, I have been attempting to create a web site for the past two years. I'd like to tell you a little about it and see if you can and would like to help. The first dev house I worked with is in India and they got a rough outline of the site going for me. However upon receiving the code, I couldn't get it to work. Also the design and user flow was not good, although the basic mechanism of the site was in place. So I hired two people to help. One was a designer who was a friend of a friend. He is a very good very able designer but does not have time to complete the project. But he did come up with a brilliant design that I would like to use for the site. I also hired a programmer that I found here on Freelancer.com He did a great job of taking the non-working code that I received from India and start to bring it into a more functional state. However he just received a full time job and will not be able to complete work on the site. You can find the semi-functional prototype of the site here: [login to view URL] The basic idea of this site is that it uses a system like [login to view URL] or [login to view URL] for users to submit content to the site. Other users then rate the content up or down. It's meant for people to submit funny/humorous web content as well as enter jokes for others to rate. There are a few loose ends that I would like to get worked out before I can start telling people about this site. What already works - - account creation /registration - User login - post content to facebook - user chat (comet chat) This is what I will need: - The user submission process to work (users should be able to post links and text) - vote up / down mechanism needs to work - login with facebook id - login with twitter id - login with OpenID - graft new user interface to the site and streamline user flow Things to know about the technology. It uses -php -php Smarty -MySQL -Cassandra DB (NoSQL) One of the most important aspects of the site is that it uses NoSQL in the form of the cassandra database. All of the functionality you see listed above was working with the site when it was hosted in India. This has been a process of restoring functionality to flawed code. I might also need some light sysadmin help (setting up nfs and load balancing). Ideally what I am looking for is to develop an ongoing relationship with a PHP developer who may also have a background in design. Also very light sysadmin duties may be involved from time to time.
