We are building a new portal using a few different CSS/xhtml based template designs. Mockups for these templates were designed for us in photoshop and we then manually converted them to xhtml/css designs. What we need is a css expert to help us find errors, fix and finalize the css for our templates so that it is more cross browser (IE, Netscape, Firefox, Mozilla, Safari) and cross o/s (Mac, Windows 98 and above) compatible. Right now our beta testers are noticing some problems with IE on windows, but are sure some other browser issues still exist. We would also like help tweaking our css to make our site more accurately reflect our mock-ups. Most of the xhtml for our template is dictated by the portal script (drupal) so we are looking for focus our efforts on the css side of the design. We are not looking for css browser hacks unless absolutely necessary. If it is decided that browser specific css files are needed we can discuss this option. When submitting a bid please send us examples of your css/xhtml work and let us know how long you think it would take you to fix our designs. People with strong css experience and/or experience building templates for opensource scripts like Drupal are encourage to place bids. Once the bid is accepted we will post the mockups and the style guide (font, colors etc) for the bid winner along with discuss the easiest way for them to work on the template/css.
