Campus Dialogues Website Specifications I. Overview: Campus Dialogues, a consortium of five universities, is creating a website to further it's mission of decreasing biases among students from different religious traditions. The program seeks a set of solutions to address Website design and development, hosting, and on-going maintenance. II. Details: Audience The website's audience will include campus administrators and leaders from post-secondary schools across the nation, as well as Campus Dialogues participants, mostly students, from the five universities in the consortium. Purposes The site must serve three general purposes: • dissemination • ongoing interactivity • conference functionality III. Needs The vendor will address Web design (i.e., visual "look and feel"), Web development (architecture, functionality, coding, etc), and on-going maintenance. Web Design The vendor should present Campus Dialogues with two or three initial designs from which to choose one final design to be applied consistently across the site. Design elements cannot include the colors blue or green, and they should be abstract or exclude identifiable people or places. Web Development The vendor should present one or more solutions that supports the following functions and activities: • An "archive" or "library" area for accessing text files and viewing/listening to multimedia files (e.g., Flash video) • Web forms and tools to facilitate on-line registration for conferences • Web forms and tools to facilitate on-line activities (e.g., message boards, moderated on-line discussion, etc.) Content Management The vendor should be able to provide some kind of Web-based content management front end to add, update, delete, or otherwise maintain any data and information stored in a database.

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working website, including complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): Web hosting solution (bandwidth and hosting space negotiable) Web design solution (choice of design from three prototypes) Web development services, including: * site architecture * front-end and back-end coding * database design and development * content management features/application (as needed) 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
