I'm looking for a photo to use as a book cover.
The key element in the photo is an attractive (about 32 years old) Native American woman, or a woman that looks NA, on a road trip or in a old pick-up truck (1980s or 90s) on the side of the road. The location is somewhere in either Los Angeles or the California desert. She is traveling with another woman who doesn't necessarily have to be in the photo -- same age, blonde, and attractive. The photo must appear unscripted and more like a "snap shot" rather then journalistic or an artfully crafted composition.
You can use semi-sepia tones, polaroid-like qualities, Instamatic, or lower production value light and film quality. No need to highlight the woman's beauty or fetishize her Native looks/identity. She can appear in a casual dress for example with stylish sunglasses. It is important to capture their vulnerability by perhaps showing her juxtaposition to the vast landscape.
I've provided a photo that gives some indication of what I am looking for but does not convey character's vulnerability. Your ideas and creativity are welcome.
The photo will be used as cover art on Kickstart to raise funds to cover the cost of editing and other production costs.
Full credit will be given to the artist in subsequent iterations of the material should it be used
