I believe my skills and attributes are well suited to this position. I have worked as a Communications Specialist for the past six years. I am a former member of the Editor's Association of Canada where I have learned much about proofreading and copy writing. In addition, I have completed the course component of an Applied Degree in Communications which includes many courses in journalism, editing and writing. I earned a GPA of 3.85 out of 4 which reflects a strong aptitude for written and verbal communication. Prior to working as a Communications Specialist, I was employed as an accountant in the Oil and Gas industry. This work experience lends knowledge of the industry that can assist in creating a clear understanding of the intended message. I am able to work in a variety of software applications and I will make each suggested change very transparent. I look forward to the possibility of working with you. Understand that you require a person who needs a brochure made for your establishment.
