I have a C++ application that's outputting XML data (sample attached) at rate - typically 1 Hz. The XML content within the sample XML has the potential to vary. More specifically the number of targets (numTargets) , geo location data etc. could vary depending on the scene.
I'm in need of a basic webpage using Django framework. The django app will:
a) Initiate a connection to openstreemap at startup - use a segment of the Hudson river in NY as 'startup' imagery.
b) Attempt to establish a connection with the C++ application @ 1Hz interval. If unsuccessful resort to Hudson river segment above
c) If a successful connection is established, parse the XML content and overlay the geoLocation info from the XML onto the map. The specific symbology that you'll use to denote tracks is up for discussion, nonetheless I was thinking a small green circle would suffice.
Django 1.5 or greater will suffice
Python 2.7 or greater
