We have Django project which is 70% complete, and we are looking for an experienced developer to take this project to completion. Currently, the environment consists of a network of websites, all pulling data from the same DB, and which require both back-end and front-end developments.
The following tasks are required:
1. Add a new table to the database for the products related SEO options. The SEO options in product will be a base option. The app will search the SEO options in the new table, if can it not be found it will get the base options in the product table.
We need the database schema to allow:
* unique page titles, unique meta descriptions and unique meta keywords for each page and category across the network of sites
* sharing product meta data, ie. Interest Rate, Monthly Fee, sharing product images, sharing product description (the 3rd field in offer admin), sharing product features (the 4th field in offer admin), sharing outbound URL, and sharing category
2. Admin must be able to tag a product as ‘inactive’:
* If we don’t have a live affiliate link for a product, we should be able to mark it as ‘inactive’
* If a product is marked as ‘inactive’ then the ‘Apply’ link which is shown to users on the front-end, is swapped out for a ‘Register your interest’ link, which sends them to our newsletter signup page.
The benefit is that the user gets updated, we get another interested subscriber and we maintain our position for product related searches.
3. Make it so that all URLs use www. If someone tries to load a URL without www, then 301 them to the full www version.
4. A widget for searching and filtering through products. See the attached file for further details on this task. You will be required to do both front-end and back-end tasks.
We're looking for a competent developer, who can start work immediately on these tasks, and finish them within the next few days.
Note: We will NOT use GAF escrow service, but we WILL pay you in full once the project is completed.
