When I try to convert it, i get a couple of warnings about "win64" deprecated; and when I try to compile, I get a single error "error C2039: 'guidItem' : is not a member of '_NOTIFYICONDATAW'"
This project is about 1,400 lines of C++ code and outputs an tray app executable and a supporting DLL that creates a hook.
Bonus, if you can find a way to pull the DLL into the executable with static linking, so we have a single self-contained executable - or give me a report on why this is not feasible -- and maybe alternative ideas, so I can distribtue the program as a single self-contained executable versus multiple files.
So the scope of the project is just convert it so it compiles in Visual Studio 2008. I will pay bonus if you can statically compile so instead of the DLL being a separate thing, it becomes incorporated into the main executable.
