We're looking for a Database expert to help us create an access database from an excel database.
Using data in an existing excel spreadsheet you will develop an access database to:
- Store contact details
- Store records of workshop attendance, and link contacts to workshop attendance
- Provide a mechanism to input new workshop attendance records which searches existing contact database and either (1) link to an existing contact or (2) build a new contact record for new attendees
- As workshop attendance data is entered the access database will search for each name, phone number or email (whichever is available) in existing contacts and auto-fill contact details (name, email, phone, address etc) based on a searc match
- Build auto reports to display number of individuals attending workshops each financial year (one individual may attend several workshops)
- build auto report function to display total number of attendees at workshops each financial year
- build auto report function to display number of new contacts attending events each financial year
- build auto report function to display number of workshops in each category each financial year
