I need someone to create a small software that will detect the frequency of audio from a connected microphone.
Details :
There will be a microphone connected to the computer. The software must detect the frequency of any detected audio and write it to a txt file in Hertz. It does not need to detect anything lower than 0, or higher than 20 000 hertz.
The software will continue to update the contents of the txt file until I close the software.
It should also be able to read the frequencies of fairly quiet sounds through the mic, though obviously I'm not expecting it to read almost silent ones.
The software must run in windows 7.
The software must work as a stand alone application and not be dependent on other softwares installed to run, such as matlab (though you may use matlab to develop the software, as long as I don't need to have matlab installed to run it).
