Hello, Your job post looks attractive to me I’ve got experience with AWS as a member of SafeNet’s ProtectV development team. The product is about full VM protection on both Amazon and VMware clouds and utilizes AWS intensively. Have experience with Jenkins – used it for automated builds for projects both in SafeNet and VMware I have not dealt with LAMP (Linux/Apache/MySQL/PHP) directly. However the VMware Operations Manager project that I've been involved for 2 years is based on Appache, Postgress SQL, with preferable deployment is Linux (although Windows is supported as well) and is being developed in Java. Do have experience with Confluence as a task definition tool. That was used both in SafeNet and VMware. Hello, I'm an experienced LAMP developer who started the "DevOps" program at my last job. In the process, we tried lots of different technology before settling on Jenkins, Puppet, and some server-monitoring tools that aren't listed. Additionally, I've done integrations with AWS for file storage and used Amazon Workspaces (coupled with Docker, OwnCloud, and Guacamole) to solve some issues we had regarding remote developers (Security, VPN latency, etc). We used Xenserver with XOA for VM provisioning, and I've done some automation scripts (Python, Bash) to help with that, prior to the release of XOA. More than technology-specific knowledge, I am a great problem-solver with experience in both development and system administration. This helps me learn new technology quickly and get "under the hood" to make adjustments when needed. I've also done a lot of refactoring and adapting legacy code to work with newer tech, from automated builds and deployment to deconstructing a monolithic architecture to work nicely with Docker containers and "the cloud". I've found that DevOps is the area of IT that I love the most because I get to work with a variety of tech and skills. I love the challenge of automation, and although I still have room to learn, I have a good bit of experience under my belt, and am confident that I can be up to speed quickly with your system.
