I was working for industry's first search engine giant as senior system engineer, and I was a freelance shared hosting server administrator before handling control panels like plesk, cpanel, lxadmin and webmin. I have expertise in sendmail, postfix and exim email servers and iptables/iptables based firewalls like apf/csf. I used to harden shared servers to protect it from usual threats like ddos, syn_flood, and I used to customize kernels with grsec patch when that was needed long before and automate in bash and perl.
