If you do not have prior experience of completing similar to the requirements below please do not bid. Please give some detail of similar experience in your bid description. Milestone 1: Automate transfer of files to/from an SFTP site a) A script/task is to be created that will move files located in a folder on a file server to an SFTP site. The routine is to poll a folder at a set frequency (either recurring every x minutes, or at a set time each day) to check for new files. When new file(s) are identified the files will be moved to a folder on the SFTP site. The script will be running on a Windows Server 2012 R2 machine, the file server location will be a UNC path. b) The reverse of (a) is required. A script will poll a folder on an SFTP site at a set frequency, on a new file being identified the file will be moved from the SFTP site to a folder on a file server (UNC path). The above tasks may have multiple instances, so that files can be moved from different locations/SFTP sites if required. Ideally using free software such as Filezilla, putty etc Milestone 2: File transfer with encryption /decryption Similar to Milestone 1, but files need to be encrypted before sending to the SFTP using a PGP key. Files being received from the SFTP need to be decrypted after being moved to the Windows Server. Further details will be provided for this milestone to the successful freelancer. You will not be given access to the server or be given the SFTP details, so instructions will be required on how we implement, add the actual UNC paths/SFTP details and execute the script.

Hi. I believe you're likely overpaying for your project. Unless there is something I'm missing it is a very simple python application and wouldn't take anything more than a couple of small modules. [login to view URL] This allows a high level interface for Python which allows very readable, clear and efficient automizing of any SFTP. [login to view URL] This allows for high level communications with the path. Because of the multiple instances necessary we can set up our python script with parameters to meet your different needs and then set scheduled tasks on your server to call the individual workings of your script. If you have any questions or concerns please hit me up so we can discuss this further.

Hello, I've wrote a few scripts in powershell for my company where I encrypt the password and files after zipping the contents and push them to a similar server in our Extranet. I will accomplish this task by creating a powershell script to locate the directory and enumerate all of the files in the folder, next we will encrypt every file by using the public key. Once this is done we will send them to the other side and use another script to decrypt and place the files in the appropriate areas. We will run these through task scheduler to automate the process and run on a timer. Thanks for your consideration and time!
