We are looking for a professional female actress interested in presenting an exam coaching program (24-48 hours of recordings - this is a BIG project, but can be done part time).
The basic set up will be you teaching students (from pre-written scripts custom tailored to your teaching style), sitting in front of a white wall / large whiteboard.
You need be somewhat tech-savvy or willing to be open minded when it comes down to technical stuff.
If you already have a home studio set up for recording your own presentations, great!
If not, you need to be willing to set one up. This literally means:
- finding a quiet room where you either have a white wall background, or can put up a whiteboard to sit in front of. Preferably, the room is somewhat spacious;
- positioning the camera so you get a nicely composed shot;
- depending on your current lighting, positioning a few small/cheap spotlights to get better lighting on you, so you look great on camera.
These 3 steps may require some experimenting (to see what works and what doesn't).
As you can understand, presenting an exam prep course, you need to look somewhat academically representative.
BUT… The whole program is informal! So you can have a lot of fun while doing it. Imagine sitting one-on-one with another student, trying to help him/her go through all study materials, and joking around a little here and there while at it.
It is totally cool (and in fact, recommended) to joke around a little while video taping as to make a fun viewing/watching experience.
If you have any video examples of you presenting whatever, please send it along with your application.
If you're interested, we're looking forward to see you join our team!
Greetings;
