Contour parallel pocketing implementation We want the sourcecode of an implementation of the mentioned task in VB6 (Visual Basic 6). Given is: a list of unsorted geometry (arcs, circles and lines only) the tool diameter the stepover percentage the ramping (down) angle the milling direction (climb or conventional) method for the cut of the contour elements: use cutter compensation of the controller or calculate the path offset value for finishing a list of the cutting depths The task is: build the paths as shown in [login to view URL] (see attached [login to view URL]) must be able to handle large geometry count (~32000 elements) close open geometry if not closed create ramping elements at the point where the tool goes down create the pocketing geometry in correct order (climb or conventional) toolpath must be collision free put out the list of elements to move along with flags of what they are provide the progress status while calculating. --- There are some approaches, e.g.: [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL] --- No complicated reading of geometry is required, especially no DXF import. We will create simple csv tables of geometry to test with. No visual output, no GUI. Must be a module which can be inserted into an existing project. Source must be in VB6 (Visual Basic 6), not .net!
