This is a solicitation for a proposal to design a simple yet elegant Ecommerce webpage dedicated to high-quality men’s apparel. The primary function of the website will be to generate sales and allow our clients an opportunity to benefit from an amazing online experience. Website Vision and Focus: * Our target clients are between the ages of 18-35, we want to revolutionize the thir online buying experience. *We are not only selling quality, but most importantly we are selling the brand. Our clients can go to many places to get a good and fashionable product; however, we want to sell them the experience. *The website is a critical component to our branding and will determine how we succeed as an organization. Our clients should have an easy and elegant experience, with a site focused on. • Elegance • Clean • Crisp • Black/White Photo Motif • Easy loading Ideally, the layout of the website will be economically utilizing an OScommerce backbone, of which is provided in our hosting solution. [login to view URL] Please keep in mind that at this moment in time our product line is less than 60 products, thus it will not be to the extent as many of these sites. * We will provide all the written content and photos necessary for the website. *Our current idea is to have a black and white photo motif and a black backdrop with the portfolio of products being displayed below the model photo and a special feature added, as per discussed in the section below. Website Feature: Our website special feature request is as follows; say we have our “business” line of dress shirts. The client clicks on the “business” link and in front of him are 12 shirts (various colors/designs), and above the portfolio of shirts is a static black/white photo of a model business person in a suit. You can't tell what the shirt color/design is because the photo is in black/white. The feature we want is when the client hovers over a shirt he potentially likes, the shirt on the black/white photo changes to that particular shirt of his interest and the remainder of the photo remains static on black & white. Please provide examples/demos when you bid and in an effort to keep costs down, a bid on a clone of one of your systems. Further, as part of the final product delivery, you need to deliver an instruction and file manual detailing website features and functions to help maintain the website in the future. Depending on the price and quality, I have another ecommerce website that needs to be developed. We are looking for a potential long-term website management relationship.
