Project is a music sharing web application. There are many similar applications available, but we are trying to make an application, which contains some unique features. ● Any user can upload their self- composed songs ● User can search content existing in the application (users, songs,etc.). ● They can listen to the original music uploaded by other users. ● Users can follow users and get their updates. ● Users can also write a blog and can share their stories behind the songs. ● Users can vote for the songs they like. New Feature: Music Therapy We are introducing new music therapy feature for a friend where a user can push a High Pulse Rate and Low Pulse Rate to a friend and if friends agrees to it, he will be popped up with a list of songs recommended by the application. Friend can also choose to ignore them and listen to their own play playlist. This music therapy suggestion will occur in notification center and accordingly will highlight the best-recommended songs. Technology stack required: UI : HTML 5, CSS 3, Java, JSP, AJAX and JSON. Backend : Java spring MVC Pages required : ● Signup / Registration Page: ● Login Page: ● Edit User Profile Information Page: Profile Page: This page will have basic user information along with list of activities done by user, similar to facebook activities. Home Page: This page is the main page of the application. Home page will be divided into four areas: ● Section1 will contain user name and profile picture. ● Section2 will be for suggestions, there will be three buttons Latest, Trending and MyList. There will be option to play the songs along the song [login to view URL] should have option to like and comment on the songs. ● Section3, will contain feed of user’s friends activity. center on a user home page, while on user’s friend page, this area will contain two buttons and current status of the user friend (High pulse / low pulse mode). ● Firstly, on friends page user can go and click high pulse and low pulse button respectively to send high pulse or low pulse to his friend. User cannot send any more pulses to the friend who haven’t performed any activity on the previous pulse sent. But can cancel the pulse request himself and re-initiate it. ● Secondly, on his home page he will have notification area where he will be receiving high pulse and low pulse notification sent by various friends. To this user can either accept or reject the pulse, if the user rejects the pulse then it is removed from the notification list after a confirmation. But if user accepts the pulse then new pulse play list of songs are opened and these songs are the recommended songs based on the classification results of high pulse or low pulse respectively.
