Take an existing onHover accordion navigation menu and make it expand onClick instead (compatible with touchscreens). Remove URLs from primary menu items that will now click to expand rather than click to open a new link.

Connect the new menu to the Wordpress 3 menu feature. Make sure the relevant primary menu item is expanded whenever the user is viewing a page that is a child of that primary menu item.
