Active Directory Decommission Project

I have finished standing up a fresh set of domain controllers and it is now time to retire the remaining legacy servers. The new environment is healthy and fully operational; what I need is a methodical, low-risk decommission of the old boxes so we end with a clean, error-free domain. Your work will include confirming that all FSMO roles, replication partners, login scripts, and GPO links have already moved or been updated, then safely demoting the legacy DCs, cleaning up metadata, and validating DNS as well as SYSVOL health once the machines are gone.
