Restaurant Order-Taking AI Chatbot

I want to embed an AI-powered chatbot into our restaurant’s website so guests can place their entire order without picking up the phone or flagging down staff. The bot’s core job is simple: smoothly guide visitors through menu selection, confirm their choices, and pass the final order to our existing POS or email workflow. Beyond basic ordering, I also need the experience to feel like a knowledgeable server. The chatbot should: • Recommend dishes based on each guest’s stated preferences (diet, spice level, previous orders, etc.). • Instantly provide ingredient and allergen details on request, pulling from a structured menu database. • Surface current promotional deals or discounts when relevant to help drive upsells and repeat visits. I’ll supply menu data, images, and promotional rules; you handle intent design, entity mapping, UI styling, and full end-to-end testing. Acceptance will be based on: 1. Visitors can complete a full order from greeting to confirmation in under three minutes. 2. All three extra features work reliably across desktop and mobile browsers. 3.
