Greetings Hiring Manager, What are you planning to use in identifying staff when they clock in? Maybe Staff identification card or fingerprint identification? Do you plan to store some data locally then sync to remote database or all data is stored in the remote server? What about the issue of break intervals? How do you plan to go about it? I am a seasoned Android Developer with over 4 years experience and an existing Time Attendance system. So that system I have has a mobile application and web interface. The system is linked to a cloud application by the name cloudWage that is responsible for calculating the salary for a specific employee, which is derived from the number of hours worked, and if there are overtime hours clocked. I am using MRZ( machine readable zone) for staff identification whereby I scan staff members to check them in/out depending on the preset constraints. The data is store locally (SQLite), then later synced to remote DB. I feel I am better placed to handle this task since it's a project I have done before.
