Web Portal Search & Directory

This project requires template design, PHP programming with management interface, Web reporting of PHP program results, chat board, logo design w/ navigation bar, and all pages to accept google adwords advertising and paid placement banner ads. This site will only make money by displaying ads, selling adwords, and selling an e-book. Need flash banner ad (8 sizes) to promote site and ebook on this site and on others via banner exchange. The site is 6 main categories for stock market options trading. Each can be reached by the navigation bar. Also the navigation bar contains logo, banner ad, and a data entry box that will take the visitor to the proper chatboard page by enterin the ticker of the stock they want to chat about (i.e. AAPL, CSCO, QCOM, etc). I ask for template design for A&B below because I do not have all content ready to be laid out, and would like to fill content w/ images later, add links later, etc. Your template(s) will have navigation bar, placeholders for banner ads of several sizes (apx 5 at all times), placement for google adwords, and leave me ability to enter jpegs (placeholder) and text in main body of A&B below. Please see deliverables for more complete description of exactly how this works and what we intend to do with this site. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). A) Options 101 will be a dictionary for options traders. The left will have link navigations to the various types of options (calls, puts, spreads, deltas etc) and their definitions. What I need is a template so I can fill in the terms on the left, the content w/images in middle. Your template will include navigation bar, room for ads, google adwords and banner. B) Charting 101 will be encyclopedia of charts. This will be bigger list but look like A above. Template colors could change from A above. C) Messsage Board. Would like to use PHPBB or other easy to manage board but need mods installed or built. I want all message boards & messages inside template to allow google adwords on left, banner ads etc. All pages need to fill with ads. Also, need to create 2000 threads so maybe develop a script that will name & each thread and create it for us. I will provide list of thread names via Excel spreadsheet. PHPBB will NOT allow users to create new threads, but only post to threads we created. Also, board/messages will have link to open to 3rd party charts. Later may add XML feeds from data vendors. D) Portfolio - This is a PHP program that allows us to enter fake trades. Mgmt interface allows us to select Open or Close, Call or Put, stock name, month, strike price, quantity, price paid, commission amount ($10.95+($0.75xQTY)), Total (pricexqty+commish). Also date and time stamp entry. If open, it's negative total. If close, it's positive (less commissions on both). If close, must close all or part of a prior open transaction. On web page, portfolio can be viewed on webpage as total value, total open transactions, and all transactions made since date X. Starting capital of $30,000 will be running transactions, after time portfolio will grow (or shrink) to reveal success or failure of using options trading for profit. E) News - This will be opinions and articles submitted, or found online. Maybe later fed by XML or other feed from 3rd party. F) Home Page - will feature lead-in to all of the above. Will display truncated (last 10) trades of our fake trading system, total value of our portfolio, etc. Also sell ads and google adwords. Also news of the day (later by RSS or XML feed) and of course e-book for sale. G) E-Book - e book page is to sell our e-book, should be 4-5 pages to lead to purchase ie. 1) Intro of book (buy now, more info) 2) more info (buy now, more info) 3) more info (buy now, more info) etc. Reason is to generate more banners to do banner exchange and also to generate google adwords and banner loads. No way to make money unless we have lots of content to trade and sell adwords. Eventually if site has many viewers maybe we can sell premium banner ads to brokerages and then pay for RSS/XML feeds. Templates for me to fill in information for A&B above. PHP management interface to allow us to enter trades. This must work in identical format to an online brokerage - i.e. you open trades and close trades, so you cannot close a trade that has not been opened. Always calculated math correctly, and reports on our home page and our trade page the trades we have made, keeps running score of gains and losses. Should report in sequence of trade - i.e. open a put or call, then close the put or call so that users can see how much we made on that particular trade - even though we may open trade on Day 1 and then open another trade on day 3 and then close first trade on day 5 - it should report by opening trade, then show when we closed it and how much profit (we could have opened/closed partial trades i.e. buy 40 today, 20 tomorrow, then close 30 in 3 days, 10 the next day, and 10 3 days later etc. so it needs to understand how this works in real life. Need original artwork creations including logo design. Need PHPBB and mods custom or off the shelf for chatboard, needs to have room to display our banner and navigation bar, plus google adwords, banner ads both in threads and inside (around) each message. Template so we can add content - there are about 30+ types of options definitions, but over 100+ types of charts so I will add JPEG & Content for each chart type. Template needs to have our navigation bar, banner ads, google adwords and leftside navigation bar so user can jump to chart they want to learn about. Then it will show chart and give definition and how to use it. ## Platform I have host selected, will need you to load all via FTP, and also to create management interface. I would like, once its running, to manage itself. I.e. Not much need to add more content. Will add news/articles as needed, could be fed by database. Also add trades as needed. But otherwise chatboard and e-book will not change much. Linux is fine if PHPBB and the PHP progrm you design can run on it. Should be viewable by major browers including IE, Mozilla/Firefox, Netscape and AOL browers.
