My friend I are writing a short book about our funny dating stories. The only issue is, we aren't writers.
We will have about 50 stories all up that will need to be edited. Here are two examples. We want them to be max 1 A4 page in length. We will write it, we just need someone to make it sound better than it is, perhaps expand some points and better the language.
Please quote the cost for ONE (1) article. I expect it shouldn't;t take more than some minutes for the right person to do.
Story 1: Who Pays for lunch? Being the man, I expect to pay on dates. So when I went ice-skating with a Tinder girl called Laura, it didn’t bother me that I payed for her skates. What did bother me was that she didn’t say “Thank you”. Almost like she just took for granted that I would treat her. So when I met up with Laura for a second date for lunch, I wasn’t feeling so generous to treat her again. When the bill came, I looked at it and told her, her half was $30. She said, “You’re joking right?” I said “No” She smugly replied, “Oh, well normally my dates pay for me.” And I told her “Normally my dates say thank you, so pay up.” It shouldn’t come as a surprise that that comment offended her and she claimed she didn’t have her wallet on her (who goes out without their wallet?), so I still had to pay for her. When I tried to kiss her later, she pulled away and said she only kisses people she respects, so I told her she could go home and I never saw her again.
Story 2: I had matched with an American girl on Tinder that was in Sydney for the semester on exchange. We had decided to grab a drink one Saturday night and I suggested one of my favourite clubs, Lo Fi. I picked her up from her dormitory and we proceeded to the club. She had some friends which happened to be going there as well and we all met on the first level.
While I was talking with my date, I received a message from another girl I had recently taken out on a couple dates and she told me to come join her at a club in the same suburb. When I asked which club, she told me she was at Lo Fi. Upon asking where in the club she was, she told me she was on the dance floor on the top floor.
With some quick thinking, I told my date Sandra to hang with her friends for a little bit as I had a friend I had to see upstairs. I ran upstairs and after a 10 minute search, managed to find Jessica. She started dancing with me and after a few songs we ended up kissing. Throughout the dancing and even the kissing, I remember looking back over my shoulder to make sure Sandra didn’t venture upstairs.
For the next couple of hours, I lost hundreds of calories and became ever so thirsty as I reassigned myself countless of times between both floors seeing both girls. Sandra never caught me out and that happened to be the last time I ever saw both girls.

Your stories are actually well-written. I would just make them more vivid, and tell a bit more of the story using a bit of dialogue to make it more colorful. Maybe just add " Tinder girl called Laura who wore yellow John Lennon sunglasses and kept on chewing gum". Not a real suggestion, just trying to make a point. At the moment your stories are charcoal sketches, we have to change them into full-color oil paintings - albeit very small paintings. I tried to quote for one story at a time but the "machine" stopped me. I can do a story for $5 at a time. I have written novels and business books and more, and my style is especially vivid. I want you to see, touch, taste and smell the world the story takes place in. Space in your framework is limited, but just the same. I would love to get involved.
