Here is a short sample of my writing - As she fumbled with the settings, they frantically finalized the last few details of the plan. Their hushed whispers were borne away on the breeze, words meant only for the ears they were spoken into. The stillness of the old, rickety building belied the racing of their hearts, and they felt stranded, as though on the edge of the world.
