Why removing headphone jack from iPhone 7 was a bad idea? As we all know by now, the new iPhone is out. As years before we are getting the new flagship smartphone from Apple, better to say two of them, iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 plus. Apple likes to innovate with their new models; their design is now timeless; new iPhone 7 has water resistant body up to 1 meters for 30 minutes, better camera, new home button, better display, and battery with bigger capacity. But one new design choice has confused a lot of casual users and iPhone enthusiasts around the world. They removed the headphone jack. For all of us, that is a strange choice and not very smart one from Apple. We know that profit is the most important thing for the brand, but some choices just for making few more bucks can make people start to hate your brand. Now only docking port on iPhone 7 is the patented lightning dock. You will need to use the lightning cable for charging and for listening music if you don`t have Bluetooth headphones. The problem with that is that lightning dock will get damaged two times faster than before because you will have to use the same port for charging and for listening music. And iPhone 7 has no wireless charging, so there is almost no way to propane the life of the lightning dock. The choice to remove something that we all are used to for years now on all smartphones is just I could say stupid.
