The base models for a seeded reactor/clarifier and two companion tanks are already built in SolidWorks 2025; I simply need some client requested engineering modifications and additions done so I can release the package for review then hopefully fabrication. What is this project? Well, it is a small part of a plant being designed for chemical removal from ACP by resin. The seeded reactor/clarifier is a hybrid design that can rapidly precipitate out a chemical that is supersaturated in the liquid. HERE ARE THE TANKS: Seeded Reactor/Clarifier ("clarifier" for ease) - A 6m ID by 4.5m tall conical bottom tank that has a truss and platform across the top with the drive (the motor and gearbox unit). The drive turns the rake at 2 revolutions per hour. The rake is arms designed to slowly push all the precipitate (aka sludge) that has collected at the bottom of the clarifier into the sludge removal pipe at the center of the conical bottom. The effluent (treated discharge) leaves by a weir around the top to a separate tank (Pump Column Tank). Pump Column Tank - A 2m OD by 4m tall cylindrical, flat bottom, open top tank. Backwash Settle Tank - A 2m OD by 4m tall cylindrical, flat bottom, open top tank Task list (longest to modify/add): 1) We need to add personnel workspace around the Drive on the platform. 2) Modify the I-beam base support for the clarifier and add one for the other 2 tanks. It is designed like floor joist, and we need to add vertical support from this base to the conical bottom of the clarifier. 3)Modify the ladders and safety cages to fit the sleeper height change. The tanks all sit on their own concrete sleepers. The height of the sleepers has now grown, so the ladder access to the top of the tanks needs to be modified to match the change. There are plenty of other "quick" fixes throughout the models/drawings, but they should not be as time consuming at the 3 already stated. I’m on a tight timeline and plan to review as soon as you upload the updated SLDDRW, SLDPRT and SLDASM files. If you know your way around assemblies and can turn this around quickly, let’s get started right away.

Hi, Went through both drawing packages. Clean JESA work, so the modifications should be clean insertions rather than rebuilds if the subassembly structure is preserved. A few observations that shape the approach. The truss frame sits on anchor chairs welded to the shell, so the vertical support addition from the I-beam base to the conical bottom needs to transfer load without disturbing the existing anchor chair mates. Platform workspace around the drive is tight given the radar transmitter on the truss and the FDM sensor clamp, so guardrail layout needs to keep maintenance access clear. The ladder cages on the clarifier and pump column share geometry, so sleeper-height changes can be applied consistently across all three tanks. We’re a product engineering team, Top 1% on Freelancer with 95+ products shipped including tank skids, structural modifications, and fabrication-ready SolidWorks assemblies. Two questions. Is the guardrail and toe plate compliance to OSHA or Moroccan/European equivalent given the Jorf Lasfar site? And should the new vertical supports tie into existing anchor chair positions or sit as independent supports? That changes the field welding sequence. Happy to jump on a call once you’ve seen our profile.

Hi, This is a straightforward update scope, but it touches load paths, access safety, and assembly integrity—so it needs to be handled carefully to avoid downstream fabrication issues. How I’d handle your updates: 1. Drive Platform Workspace • Extend/modify platform with proper clearance around motor + gearbox • Add guardrails, toe plates, and access points (maintenance-friendly) • Check interference with rake shaft and rotation envelope 2. Base Support + Vertical Structure • Redesign I-beam “joist-style” base for all tanks with consistent logic • Add vertical supports from base to conical bottom (load transfer + stability) • Quick FEA sanity check on clarifier (sludge + structure load case) 3. Ladder & Cage Modifications • Update ladder lengths and cage geometry to match new sleeper height • Ensure compliant spacing, landing access, and safe transitions to platform 4. General Fixes • Clean up assemblies (mates, references, configs) • Update drawings (SLDDRW) with correct dimensions and annotations • Ensure everything is fabrication-ready and consistent across models Deliverables: • Updated SLDPRT, SLDASM, SLDDRW (SolidWorks 2025 native) • STEP exports if needed • Clean, review-ready drawing package Why I’m a good fit: Strong experience with large welded structures, tanks, and industrial assemblies, with focus on fast turnaround without breaking design intent. Best regards,

Hi, I recently updated a SolidWorks assembly for a wastewater mixing tank system, where I modified support frames, added maintenance platforms, and adjusted ladder access to meet revised safety requirements. I also worked on a chemical storage vessel project, implementing structural support changes and coordinating multiple tank assemblies to ensure proper load transfer and fabrication readiness. I'd love to share my experiences with you. Best regards, Epa

As someone who specializes in designing and engineering products with manufacturability in mind, I believe I'm the perfect fit for your SolidWorks project. Most 3D designers often overlook the importance of turning impressive renders into practical designs that can be produced without costly revisions. My approach is different—I bridge the gap between aesthetic appeal and functionality, ensuring your design can be successfully executed. With a comprehensive understanding of 3D modeling, CAD, and mechanical design, I have the skills necessary to complete all aspects of your project—ranging from modifying the I-beam base support to adapting ladder access. As an experienced Blender user, my animations are top-notch as well, which can effectively demonstrate how high this Reactor/Clarifier and companion tanks function. Also, take note that I always begin with manufacturability in mind. Throughout my career, I’ve learned to ask questions such as draft angles and material choices early on to prevent expensive prototyping lessons down the line. Plus, when it's time to market your product or present your designs, my skills in creating photorealistic renders and compelling animations will appeal to both investors and clients alike. Finally, rest assured that my deliverables will be on time and budget-oriented while maintaining a 5.0-star quality rating. I’m ready and excited by the challenge this project poses.
