I'm after building a relationship with someone who can be my audio assistant apprentice. I'll teach you everything I know (15 years pro). My roles include Broadcast and Podcast with huge names in Australia and the US. Genres include News, Business, FM Commercial Radio, Classical, Podcast Narrative, Podcast Business.
If you value working with good products in a safe environment (I take the fall) this is for you.
If you're over $20 Australian, and/or have less than a year experience on Pro Tools, please do not apply. At the start of your reply to me, please type I HAVE READ THIS. So I know you're not just spamming copy paste/you read others.
Why Pro Tools? Because we will be swapping sessions as we work.
Early on, the most important job you can do is do natural edits/cuts to conversations - not glamorous work, but if you can't get the basics right, then you're not qualified for the rest.
Fluent English is a must (for the content and for communication) and will need to be available to do future tasks within a 24 hour turn around timeline.
This isn't just some job - this is a potential of a regular stream of work and income, and if you do well it'll get better.
You'll immediately go to the top of the list if you attempt to show your skills on a before and after voice clean up.
So take a raw recording of someone speaking
Then do your thing! Not looking at processing rather fine cuts to get rid of any voice imperfections.
Things like the stumbles, ums, ahs, pauses and anything which gets in the way of the flow, but it must sound natural. Send both files, I will then compare to the original to assess how smooth and how much detail there is.

I work intensly with Adobe Audition doing this exact job day in day out - I know you are looking for Pro Tools users which I can also use, just enquiring and asserting my interest.
