We are about 90% finished with an Italian restaurant located in a strip center. The space is about 2500 square feet. Inspectors have approved work at each step. We only lack completing the concrete over the grease trap, finishing about 2 days of electrical work, adding a small amount of sheet-rock on an interior wall, painting, adding 7 or 8 tiles in bathroom, etc. Now we learn that the city will not allow us to complete our project unless our plans are stamped by a Professional Engineer.

Concerning design, I take up design work for MEP services after the concept design has been done.I have done many hospital and School projects where I have taken design brief and worked on layouts, schematics, calculations, equipment selection and schedules. In all these projects BIM was also done by me. Coming to BIM, I work on Revit & Navis as a core tool. I have delivered about 8-10 projects in the last 2 years where I have done BIM upto LOD 350.
