Build an Arduino-based data collection unit to collect data from two separate networks of DS18b20 and AM2303 sensors (already existing). The DS18b20 sensor network is constructed with Cat 6 cable, and all sensors are on one pin, using RJ45 splitters. The AM2302 network has four separate pins each attached to one sensor. Two other pins can be used for power. Hub needs to read data, timestamp it, and store, via WiFi, to an SQL database stored on a RasPi on the same network. Fabricator needs to design a unit that attaches to the Cat 6 cable, poll each set of sensors, timestamp each record, save to DB, undertake error-checking, and erase records before repeating the cycle in a user-defined time period (minutes to hours, can be set in code). This will be a black box implementation, with no user-modifiable aspects outside of changes made via code, on site. Some base code snippets for development are available already. 64-bit addresses of DS18b20 devices can be injected at commissioning by me. Skills required: electronics, SQL, DS3231 RTC, ESP8266, Arduino, small PSU, neat/tidy fabrication, documentation, Slack, time management, reporting, communications skills, lateral thinking, appropriate use of initiative. Prefer North America based fabricator to facilitate my delivery of BOM to you (from vendors), and delivery of finished product to me. Three identical units to be built.
