I have a c++ (unmanaged) project in VS 2015 that I have inherited. I need to be able to send data from this project to a managed c++/ cli clr project, and vice versa.
I have added a clr project to the solution which can call the unmanaged c++ code, but I am running into issues- for instance, when the unmanaged header file that I'm including from the managed project has an include which references <thread. I get a compile error: C1189 #error: <thread> is not supported when compiling with /clr or /clr:pure.
I'm looking for someone who is familiar with this type of process where a clr project can wrap an unmanaged c++ library and send and receive data to/from that library. I would appreciate you walking me through how to make this work on my computer with my existing vs 2015 projects.
