I am looking for someone who is an expert in OpenXML specifically [login to view URL] and DocumentBuilder. I have a project where I have a word document (2013, 2016) with placeholders that have XML content to render some SSRS reports, the rendered reports will be in docx format. Those reports will be rendered through SSRS webservices and the resulting reports should be plugged into the right place in the main template.

For my previous employer, I created a program that inserted graphs into word and excel documents using the OpenXML API, so I have experience with its quirks, like the supposedly optional elements that office requires to be in the document before it will open. SOAP interaction with a Microsoft SQL server, like the reporting service you mention, is very flexible so I'll need more details before I can create a plan for implementing that interaction.
