I’m looking for a seasoned driving professional (driving instructor or ex-emergency services) who has an expert knowledge of Spanish road rules and traffic signs. Over the next three or four months or more, the Robotaxi engineering team with which we are working in partnership with will be refining their Madrid-specific knowledge base and will rely on you, as part of our small team, to validate regulations, signal interpretations, parking and traffic light rules, and right-of-way scenarios. You will also be reading 500+ standard operating procedures originally written for driving in America to be relevant to driving in Spain. Your day-to-day work happens entirely online: reading and annotated reviews of our rulebook drafts, rapid answers to engineers’ “what if” questions, and occasional video calls to clarify points. No classroom sessions in Madrid and no need to draft full training manuals—just bring your expertise and a sharp eye for legal accuracy. Familiarity with autonomous-vehicle projects would certainly help you gel with our team, but it isn’t a requirement. You MUST: * Be located in Spain * Be fully fluent in English * Have expert knowledge of road rules - driving instructor/ ex Police or similar. * Be IT literate - we will issue a laptop for the work. You can only access the documents on this laptop. * Our client is a well know US tech company who have rolled out robotaxis in America, most recently London UK and now next is Madrid. Time - based around what you can do but estimated 12 to 25 hr a week.

I am a legal professional based in Spain with solid expertise in regulatory analysis, administrative law, and interpretation of complex legal frameworks. While I must clarify that I do not hold a driving license nor have I ever driven, I bring strong value from a legal and analytical perspective directly applicable to traffic regulations and rule validation. My experience includes reviewing норматив frameworks, interpreting procedural rules, and translating complex documents into clear, actionable guidance. I am highly skilled in technical documentation, research, and structured analysis, which are essential for adapting U.S.-based SOPs to the Spanish legal and regulatory environment. I am fully fluent in English, IT-proficient, and accustomed to remote collaboration, including annotated reviews and rapid-response support. My background ensures precision, consistency, and a rigorous approach to legal accuracy—key for autonomous driving systems. I am available 12–25 hours per week and ready to contribute immediately. Best regards, Angel Iglesias

Hello, and thank you for considering my profile. I am very interested in this project. I would like to be transparent from the beginning: I have not worked as a driving instructor, nor do I come from emergency services or law enforcement. However, I am based in Madrid and I am a highly experienced local driver with strong practical knowledge of Spanish road rules, traffic signs, right-of-way situations, parking logic, and the day-to-day driving reality of the city. Because of this, I believe I can still provide valuable input when reviewing Madrid-specific driving scenarios and helping validate how road rules are interpreted in real-world situations. I am also comfortable working fully online, reviewing documentation carefully, and communicating clearly in English. I understand that this role requires attention to detail and legal accuracy, and while my background is not from formal driving instruction or emergency services, I can contribute strong local driving knowledge, reliability, and careful review of rule-based material. I would be glad to support your team over the coming months and help improve the Madrid-specific quality of the knowledge base.

Hello, I am interested in this role. I am based in Madrid and have lived here my whole life, which gives me strong local knowledge of the city’s roads, driving patterns, signage, parking situations, and real-world traffic behaviour. In addition, I have professional driving experience as an Uber driver, so I am very familiar with Madrid’s day-to-day road environment, including right-of-way situations, urban driving decisions, pick-up and drop-off constraints, traffic lights, restricted areas, and practical interpretation of road rules in live traffic conditions. While my background is not as a driving instructor or former emergency services professional, I do bring strong practical experience, attention to detail, and the ability to review driving scenarios carefully and communicate clearly in a structured way. I am comfortable working online, reviewing documents, answering operational questions, and helping teams understand how road rules are applied in real urban driving situations in Spain, especially in Madrid. I am also comfortable with digital tools and remote collaboration, and I would be very interested in contributing to a project of this kind, where legal accuracy and practical driving reality both matter. Best regards,

Dear Hiring Team, I would like to submit my application to support your project focused on validating traffic regulations in Spain. I bring over ten years of driving experience, giving me a solid and practical understanding of road rules, traffic signs, and real-world driving scenarios in both urban and suburban environments. While I have not worked as a driving instructor or in law enforcement, I complement my experience with a strong technical background. For the past four years, I have worked in the automotive sector as a programmer specializing in computer vision systems. This has provided me with a clear understanding of artificial intelligence and deep learning, as well as how these systems interpret their surroundings and make decisions. I believe this combination of practical driving knowledge and technical expertise allows me to offer a valuable perspective, particularly for projects related to autonomous vehicles. I also have a flexible schedule and full availability for remote work. I would welcome the opportunity to contribute to your team and remain available for any further information. Sincerely, Mihai Anton
