I’m looking for an intern who can jump straight into backend duties with a clear focus on keeping our Windows Server environment healthy and up to date. Your day-to-day work will revolve around installing and configuring software on production and staging servers, verifying that each deployment is stable, and documenting every step so the rest of the team can replicate it. You should already feel comfortable navigating Windows Server (2019/2022), using PowerShell for routine tasks, and adjusting roles such as IIS or DHCP when needed. While database work or API coding isn’t on your plate right now, the ability to recognise how your changes might affect those layers is definitely a plus. Deliverables • Fully configured software packages deployed to the designated servers • Post-installation validation reports confirming successful operation and no service conflicts • A concise, step-by-step document (Markdown or Word) detailing the configuration process and any PowerShell commands used I’ll provide remote access credentials, internal guidelines, and a sandbox to test changes before they hit production.
