## Deliverables

Spelling Articles based on Academic research

Your job is to write 15 articles according to the descriptions below. The articles must meet the following criteria

•? Each article should be 400-500 words in length with the average length being 450 words

•? Articles should be well researched

•? IMPORTANT: Articles should use academic sources as their primary source of information. Google scholar is a good place to start. You should reference your sources using the Harvard author-date style. Details on that can be found here: <[url removed, login to view]>

•? Each article should reference at least 2 academic papers or research articles that are published by reputable universities or research organisations. These should be named in the Harvard style reference list at the end of the article

•? Articles should contain 100% original writing ??" they will be checked on copyscape and other similar tools

•? Use your creativity as a writer to write interesting articles that genuinely help the reader

•? You will need to become an expert in spelling improvement as you write these articles. You will be writing articles that help people (especially school kids) spell better.

•? You are not to repeat or reuse any text between articles ??" each article needs to be original in its own right

Article topics

The articles are designed to:

•? Help parents/teachers help children improve their spelling. Or...

•? Give spelling help to kids directly. Or...

•? Help adults improve their spelling

You can use google and other tools to research this. In addition, each article needs to target a specific keyword. We are taking the approach of “soft?? SEO. Therefore, you should use the following approach.

We will provide you with a list of search phrases before you start the job. These will tell you what searchers are looking for. Each article should target one search phrase. Note that you may be provided with more keywords than the number of articles you are required to write. If this is the case you can choose which search phrases you want to write about. Because these search phrases are based on real search data, they may contain errors in spelling or grammar. You should correct these errors for your articles.

For each search phrase/article:

•? Try to deduce what the searcher is looking for when they type the target phrase. Do your best to answer their question, or provide them with the information they need.

•? We are writing these articles for people, not to try to fool web spiders or search engines. Therefore, write to help people. If your articles do not address the search’s question/topic they will not be accepted. The most important thing is that you do a good job of answering the question that is being asked in the search phrase.

•? Include the target search phrase once and once only in the title of the article

•? Include the target search phrase once in about 50% or the paragraphs (i.e. in every second paragraph)

•? Include a variation of the target search phrase once in about 50% of the paragraphs (i.e. in every second paragraph)

•? Keep the topic related to spelling. Words that are related to this such as english, phonics, grammar, words, letters, etc should appear naturally in the article.

•? Most people interested in spelling are parents of school children (trying to help their kids), or school children. Keep this in mind when writing the articles.

•? Mention Ultimate Spelling Software 1-2 times per article

Important -You are working for Ultimate Spelling Software, therefore, any mention of Ultimate Spelling should be favourable.
