We can't get retaliatory reviews for our hostels removed on Booking.com. The reviews are from guests who stayed with us but then misbehaved — sometimes to the point where we had to call the police to escort them out. These guests were subsequently banned and their reservations cancelled, but they retaliated with bad reviews, or multiple reviews if they had stayed with us on several occasions. This situation isn't covered by [login to view URL]'s policy on review removal (which essentially only allows removal of reviews from no-shows), so they refuse to act. It seems that occasionally, depending on which case officer handles the request, some are more reasonable and do remove the reviews — but this is extremely rare. It has happened to us only once, while we still have 10 more reviews we haven't been able to get removed, despite requesting it multiple times through [login to view URL]'s extranet. We are looking for a freelancer who has expertise in removing unfair reviews from [login to view URL] to help us out.
