Private fitness studio located in La Canada is seeking a Part-time Administrative Assistant (20 hours a week, M-F 7am-11am) who will work under the supervision of the owner. The Administrative Assistant will also need to be able to work independently and oversee all facets of the business in the absence of the owner. The ideal Administrative Assistant will be an outgoing individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills so that s/he can interact effectively with clients, trainers, other staff, merchants on a regular basis. The Administrative Assistant needs to be detailed oriented and possess the necessary technical skills to carryout work assignments efficiently and effectively. Such skills will include thorough knowledge of Mac computer, Pages, and Numbers. Knowledge of social media, online marketing software and Photoshop is highly preferred. Job Description and Duties • Part-time 20 hours per week • Morning shifts Monday through Friday - 7:00 am -11:00 am • Manage personal training payments • Ensure the studio is maintained and well stocked with supplies • Assist the company owner with general administrative tasks • Conduct new client fitness assessment • Maintain client database and contact lists • Interact with clients and trainers on a daily basis • Creating marketing ads • General administrative tasks Required Skills • Administrative experience • A proactive approach towards increasing organizational effectiveness • Ability to recognize problems and implement creative solutions • Pays close attention to detail and accuracy • Works independently and takes ownership of tasks • Communicate effectively with PM Administrative Assistant, trainers and clients • Customer service oriented (friendly and a good listener) • Basic bookkeeping • Experience handling payments • Computer savvy (Mac, Numbers, Pages). Quick to learn new technology.
