Hello, I see that Excel just closes without any error message, which makes it even harder to troubleshoot. 1. Was this error reproduced only on Excel 2016? 2. Does this error happen with the updated 2016? 3. It doesn't look like the file closes directly after applying the formatting. Are you sure that only these particular formatting activities (on particular elements) cause this behavior? What if you just open the file and click on different cells or do nothing, will the problem appear after some time? 4. What is the file extension? Does it have any macros? Best regards
