I charge more per hour, because I deliver much more in an hour of work. It usually takes me one or two days to complete what others will do in a week. I really love programming, and I have been writing Access database programs for many years. I can make them look seamless, such that the person isn't even aware that they are in Access. I avoid all the bugs in the Access UI by explicitly coding in VB. I use many tricks to create a user friendly application, and I know how to avoid all the pitfalls. This is my first time at freelancer, and this price isn't in any way representative of my normal hourly rate. On my last project I was getting $50 USD per hour. We'll see how this goes.
