I have implemented a 2D Human Tracking through Kalman Filter in matlab and code is attached. I have some further suggestions which I would want you to work on.
First, you should be able to determine the best values for both process noise and measurement error using PSO - Particle Swamp Optimization rather than using trial and error method of changing the values as had set in the code.
Secondly, to introduce acceleration rather than using a zero acceleration so that the vector B and control vector, u won't be zero. this can be done eith r by using constant value or generating uniform acceleration as suitable.
Third, compare the results with that of extended kalman filter (EKF) algorithm.
