I am developing an auto winder for cable that includes integral measuring. The cable will run through a wheel that will include an encoder. The encoder's signal will connect to a tablet. The tablet is to include software to adjust/calibrate the encoder (encoder will output "pulses"). A keypad is to connect to the tablet that will allow for user input in "feet". Once the enter key is pressed, a low-voltage signal will output from tablet to a relay that will control a motor. When the number of feet that has been input is reached (due to the rotation of the encoder) then the output signal to the relay will stop. Then the operator can repeat the process. The number of feet, both programmed quantity and rolling amount from encoder output, will be displayed on the tablet during "run" mode.
I am looking for someone that can write the software for the tablet and recommend input/output devices for the keypad, encoder and relay output
