I'm new to learning about electronics, and am trying to use a Peltier device (open to other suggestions) to generate water, roughly 1L/day - but I want it to be plugged into the power socket. *I need help understanding what to buy and how to put it together.* This is to put together an prototype, and then iterate from there. After this I want to look at different fan options to improve efficiency, using water sensors to trigger the generation and dispersion of water, and design to pack it nicely away, but first I need to get it working. I will create an ongoing task to get help with this after I get up and running. As I want to later incorporate a water sensor, generating water doesn't need to be constant. If it's more efficient to run for an hour/day only then that's also an option (i.e. set it up to be high performance but I'll later integrate a sensor to turn it on/off).

1L/Day is quite a bit of water. You need to know the relative humidity this is very important. Sensors you will need also be temperature + RH% sensor, a good one would be SHT11x O.K. ones would be like DHT11. They work with Arduino just fine. Next, you need to convert your 220Vac to DC voltage to supply energy to the device. You can just get a power module to do this. What you need doing can be done using a VERO board/wire board. First thing first is to make sure you have the parts and test them individually before integrating them. I do not think electronics is the main problem here mechanical should be your primary concern like I said 1L/Day is quite a bit of water. You will also need to consider the amount of energy consumed versus the amount of water gained.
