MATLAB Simulation for 'Network measurement by packet probing '

This project will evaluate the effect of real-life levels of randomness on measurement accuracy and precision of network, and then evaluate the significance of this for commercial broadband networking. A simulation platform is needed to access the routers Buffer overflow to estimate the packet loss probability in the network Build a simulator with some MATLAB coding to measure the packet loss in a real time network to monitor packet level QoS. The system has to be build where active monitoring scheme is used: probe packets are inserted as samples of 10, 100, 1000 etc. and the resulting lognormal graph is created. What to build: 1. Build Queue simulator in matlab 2. Get the measured loss probability using Active measurement ( injecting probe traffic) 3. Graph a log-normal distribution of the result for sample probe of 10, 100, 1000 packets. 4. Plot another graph for sample pulses at the probe sample value. Some Requirements: 1. Clear simple codes 2. Comment on what each program is doing
