Hello there - I am an Excel Genius so this is quite trivial. The problem is that your number have comma (,) in them so the converter has treated them as text because it doesn't understand European number format, where the comma and decimal point interchange. I would probably write an Excel function that will pre-parse the CSV data and convert it accordingly, probably removing the quotes. It would be run from Excel, press button, select file, process file, save out revised version. Or it could be added to the import routine if you have one but I suspect you just double click the CSV file to open it in Excel. Alternatively you can use Excel's own data import functionality and configure it according. Happy hunting. /RAL.
