Doll Pattern Maker

We are a high-end doll manufacturing company seeking a part-time pattern maker/sample maker/sewer with minimum 5 years experience who can make a wide variety of patterns (pants, tops, jackets, coats, gowns, bras) for our dolls based on a sketch/picture reference. Must have garment construction knowledge with understanding of pattern and fit. We are looking for someone who is friendly, hardworking and thrives in a fast-paced environment to join our team. Applicants must: Have knowledge in draping, garment construction as well as scale and proportions Be able to sew a variety of different fabrics such as chiffons, charmeuse, denim, taffeta, faux leather, tulles/ nettings and jerseys/ lycra. Be able to construct samples with lining pattern with minimal seams to reduce bulk at the seams of the garments. Be able to do loose fitting, semi fitted and fitted garments. Be able to work independently and have excellent time management skills Communicate with design team to understand style and fit specifics Determine all fit and construction changes necessary Identify and solve all fit issues and confirm corrected patterns Possess strong and effective communication skills both verbal and written Have excellent follow up skills, attention to detail, ability to multi-task and follow directions. Work well with others and know how to work as a team.
