URGENT WANTED: DESIGN GURU Please do not read any further if you do not consider yourself an expert in the following disciplines:- - Graphic Design - CSS - Smarty Templates - Strong understanding of usability issues - Flash (optional but preferred) - Good understanding of SEO (optional but preferred) - Good english language skills (written & spoken) My company is finalising our first white label version of our dating engine software. Whilst we are satisifed that the technology and usability of the site is robust, we would like to polish off some of the graphics. The site currently looks slightly dull and as though it contains too much text. We need an experienced graphic designer to take a thorough look through the whole site and suggest possible changes to the following: - layout - colours - interface In particular, we would like to add small but effective graphical highlights to brighten up the site and we would also like to implement icons to save space & increase usability. (Similar to those used on [login to view URL]) Most of the changes will be small and subtle as the core layout will remain the same. You will then be expected to implement design changes directly to the code without the need for input from programmers (You will be editing CSS & Smarty templates). Programmers will of course be available to debug if necessary or if something goes wrong. This arrangement will be ongoing whereby the chosen designer will work (at a specified hourly rate or to agreed 'mini-projects') until such time as the project(s) are complete. I envisage that this project will take apprximately 3-5 weeks to complete (at an average of around 25-30hrs/week) Ideally, I would like to find someone with whom I can strike up a long term relationship as my company is an established, profitable company based in the UK and we have many more similar mid-large scale projects. Some projects are currently live & profitable but require graphically updating, others are still in the planning stages and will need conceptualising. I have plenty of work for the right individual.
