Hello,
I'm a graphic designer, hoping that I can find a developer to get me out of a bind in a hurry. I've got a Flash video project that will be implemented in a projector file for a miniature CD and on the web. There are three video files. One (the introduction) will play, and then go to the main menu, which will have four items. The first will the the introduction video that you've already seen, the second and third will be will be additional videos (company history, rules & procedures), and the fourth will be a 7-question multiple-choice quiz.
What I'm having problems with is adding actions to the end of the video files. After all three of the videos, it needs to automatically go back to the main menu. After the user has watched all of the videos, they need to take the quiz. When they pass the quiz (5 out of seven), a URL pops up with a link to the client's website, where they can fill out an online application. If they don't get 5 out of 7, they are given a link to return to the main menu, so they can choose to watch the videos again or just retake the quiz.
Your responsibilities will include the the actionscript, symbols, movieclips, and everything else that is needed to make this happen. No graphic work is needed I'll do all of that. You can use a white background and a simple font for everything. Use the FLVPlayback component for the video players, so that I can skin those individual elements as well. (I'd like to have a play/pause button, scrubber, volume bar, and mute button.) Upon acceptance of the project, I'll give you a link to one of the videos (though it's not even necessary for you to have them all - I can change the file names in the actionscript.) and a rough template from [login to view URL] that I'd like to use for the quiz. You will need to build the logic for the after-video actions could build the quiz (without the actual questions - I can add that too).
I use Flash CS3, so any version is acceptable. actionscript 2.0 is ok.
happy bidding. If all goes well, I'd like to award this project at midnight, EST, but I won't be around before then for question. Thanks -
