Gday! I've actually done work on video games before. It was one of my first traineeship opportunities and I was given a glowing response from the company. I mainly worked as a character and concept artist, however my work also included creating and adding icons to playing cards. I think this task would be great to get my feet wet in the industry as well as good for you since you'd get the work of a very quick designer with a good work ethic!
