We are a small privatly funded startup with a team of developers who can code in thier sleep, but cant do graphic design worth a ......anyway,
As I mentioned above, We have great developers and we have created a very powerful software. 3 Years in the making to be exact...and is 99% ready for release. We are simply now missing content for it. We are out looking for someone who can provide us with content at the quality we want.
We are looking for a really good Powerpoint Template designer. Similar to [url removed, login to view] quality.
You must have PowerPoint template designing experience.
To design proper PowerPoint templates you need to know many things about PowerPoint, Not just from the design aspect.
You need to know about Master Slides, Title Slides, Layout slides, Themes (*.thmx) files and how they affect PowerPoint Presentations. You also need to know when to use things like a Placeholder and when to use a textbox. If you know these things, we'll get along just great. also, the ability to have a eye for Typography is an added bonus...becasue the proper use of fonts can really make a presentation shine.
If you need to know more about the things I mentioned above, read Chapter 4 & 5 in the PowerPoint 2010 Bible book. It explains everything you need to know on how they all fit together.
One of the requirements we are looking for is the ability to use the powerful drawing tools in PowerPoint 2010. PowerPoint 2007 did not have the same tools . YOU NEED TO HAVE POWERPOINT 2010. We require this becasue all graphic design you will do, need to be done Only in powerpoint 2010. You can design some things in your psd or ai software but most of it has to be done in PPT 2010
We are sticklers on quality... we want Templates and slides as you see on [url removed, login to view] or SlideShop.com. If you can deliver slides and designs of this quality, Please contact us and show me your ability.
We need about 150 ~ 250 Slides of various kinds as you see in the above mentioned sites. All items must be drawn in PowerPoint, Not Photoshop, Not Illustrator. PowerPoint 201 only.
We need about 100 Templates in various categories.
We need to see samples of your work.
If you have the right design ability we will give you further Powerpoint knowledge.
Our first preference is:
We want someone as a partner. We are willing to offer 5% to 10% stake in the revenue of the software (based on your ability )and since the product will be a SaaS Monthly revenue generating Saas software, earning potential is quite high. We are offering this only due to the fact that we need Monthly content on a regular basis. Your earnings on this will way surpass option 2 below. Youre free to choose option 2 as well.
Our second preference is:
We pay for the Slide designs, the Powerpoint drawn graphics and Template out right. You do not get any equity stake.
